Region: Lefroy, Manjimup
Alcohol: 12.5%
Tasting Notes: A cool-climate Riesling from the elevated vineyards of Manjimup, with crisp green apple, firm pear and a compelling mineral and petrol character that speaks clearly of variety and place. Lees aging adds a subtle creamy texture to what is otherwise a precise, bone-dry and tightly wound palate, with a clean, lingering acid line on the finish.
Pairing: A natural partner for delicate seafood - freshly shucked oysters, barbequed marron, steamed mud crab, or a simple pan-fried flathead with lemon. Also lovely alongside a good ripe brie.
